All the info you need to set up your camera

This is only possible, if you already have an account in the avisec Cloud Cockpit.
If this is not the case, please contact our project manager to set up an account.

1. Camera Configuration

Log into the avisec Cloud Cockpit using your superuser- or admin-account
Navigate to “Cameras” 🠒 “List” and click “Create”
Enter all details: Project Title, Camera status, Owner, exact location
Choose the branding for your Feed, add Tags for admin-purposes. Then define Camera Tables (Table names cannot be changed later)
Create camera FTP credentials (Go up one level via breadcrumb link (Camera-ID “Y…”), then click “Credentials” and “Generate”)

2. User Roles & Permissions

In the avisec Cloud Cockpit, you can assign one of five user types to define clearly who has access to what. This allows you to manage projects efficiently and maintain security.

Admin: Access to all functions
Superuser: Can do everything except delete cameras or image-tables. Limited access to user-roles-configuration.
Poweruser: Cannot add new cameras, tables or feeds and cannot delete cameras, tables, feeds or images.
User: Can see and manually capture images
Guest: Can only see images

How do I add an additional camera to my avisec Cloud Cockpit account?

To add a new camera, log in to your Cloud Cockpit, go to Cameras → List → Create, and follow the step-by-step setup. You’ll define feed options, assign tags, and generate camera credentials. If you need help, our project manager Pascal can guide you through the process personally.
Can I connect cameras from different locations or projects?
What do I need to set up the new camera in the avisec Cloud Cockpit?
You’ll need:

A valid avisec Cloud Cockpit account

The camera’s FTP credentials (generated in your camera configuration)

Network access for image upload

Once the connection is active, images automatically appear in your project feed.
