The camera captures frames in portrait orientation, increasing vertical coverage per frame, which is especially important for alpine tourist destinations, since it’s possible to show the entire view: From the valley to the mountain top.
Each panorama is assembled automatically in the avisec Cloud Cockpit. The camera rotates through its programmed arc, captures overlapping high-resolution frames, and the cloud-based stitching engine merges them into a seamless panoramic image. The result is a single explorable view with resolutions up to 250 megapixels, which is detailed enough to identify individual mountain peaks, buildings, or ski runs from kilometers away.

The Panning Feed is avisec’s newest feed type, built for destinations where mobile page speed is critical: Instead of loading the entire 360° panorama at once, the Panning Feed renders only the visible portion and progressively fetches additional sections as the visitor scrolls horizontally. Consequently, the initial page weight stays minimal, even though the panorama image might exceed 100 megapixels.
